The background

3Y Group, one of the UK and Ireland's most trusted cabinet and contract furniture manufacturers, enjoys continuous year-on-year growth. They identified that their IT system needed to be modernised to keep pace with the group’s success. Their existing hardware lacked warranty support, their network was slow, and their remote facilities needed to be improved. 3Y’s security measures, an outdated email system and ageing PCs also demanded attention.

Meeting the challenge

3Y’s IT overhaul began with the installation of a high-performance server and two virtual machines, to add capacity and to accelerate daily operations. We synchronised all passwords to the cloud and maximised the company’s security with a premium firewall and automatic backups. In a worst-case scenario, 3Y could now be fully recovered in minutes!
